Reservations and Rental Policies

Ø     General Information 

Coastal Bend Property Mangement manages privately owned properties that are furnished with the owner’s tastes and certain standards recommended by us.

Ø     Reservations 

Reservations may be made by phoning our office toll free at 877-575-0909 (local number 361-727-0909) or by email at info@onthecoastrentals.com.  A major credit card is required to confirm a reservation unless other arrangements have been made with our office.

Ø     Rental Rates

All rental rates are subject to change without notice until confirmed by a signed Confirmation Receipt.

Ø     Occupancy Tax

 We are required to collect Texas Hotel Occupancy Tax and the city of Rockport Occupancy Tax on all reservations for less than a one month period.  Although subject to change, the current tax rate is 13%.

Ø     Security Deposit

All reservations require a $500 security deposit to hold a reservation and may be held for up to 10 days while property is inspected for damages.

Ø     Reservation Fee 

All reservations are assessed a minimum $25 Reservation Fee based on the total amount of the reservation.

Ø     Method of Payment

We accept cash, personal checks, or MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.

Ø     Cancellation Policy 

Reservations for less than one month must be cancelled and confirmed 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival in order to receive a refund of security deposit.

Reservations for more than one month must be cancelled and confirmed 30 days prior to scheduled arrival in order to receive a refund of security deposit.

Reservations cancelled due to Hurricane or other Acts of God are not subject to the terms listed above.

Ø     Last Minute Reservations 

Reservations made less than 72 hours prior to your actual check-in will require full payment at the time the reservation is made.

Ø     Arrival & Departure

Check-In and Check-Out times are flexible based on availability.

Ø     Occupancy and Housekeeping

Limit occupancy to local fire code established maximums for each unit.  Smoking is not allowed in any of our units.  In the event of damages or extra cleaning required, additional charges may be applied.  Departure maid service is included in your rent.  However, please place all trash in outside receptacles and lock all doors and windows.  Keys may be left in the unit if prior arrangements are made with management.

Ø     Linens and Supplies

All bed linens and bath towels are provided along with basic kitchenware and utensils.  An initial supply of soap, toilet paper, and paper towels are provided.
